Polypropylene is a common synthetic polymer that has the following properties:

1. Physical properties: polypropylene is a colorless, tasteless, non-toxic solid with good plasticity and toughness. It has a high melting point and melting viscosity and can flow freely at high temperatures.

2. Chemical properties: polypropylene has good heat resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance. It is not susceptible to moisture, oxidation and corrosion, and has good chemical stability.
