Aluminium Sulphate

Aluminum sulfate is an inorganic substance with a molecular weight of 342.15, which is a white crystalline powder).
In the paper industry, it is used as a precipitant for gum materials such as rosin size and wax emulsion, as a flocculant in water treatment, as a retention agent for foam extinguisher, as a raw material for manufacturing alum and aluminum white, as a raw material for petroleum decolorizing and deodorizing agents and medicines, and also for manufacturing artificial gem and high-grade ammonium alum.

1.Water treatment : It's used for purification of drinking water and wastewater treatment 
2.Paper industry : It helps in sizing of paper at neutral and alkaline pH, thus improving paper quality and sizing efficiency.
3.Textile Industry : It is used for color fixing in Naphthol based dyes for cotton fabri.
4.Other use: Leather tanning, lubricating compositions, fire retardants; decolorizing agent in petroleum,deodorizer; foodadditive; firming agent etc
