Application

1. As a dye: 
The main application is making chrome tanned leather, dyeing and printing, ceramic, green ink,insolubilizing proteins and other organic substances.
Basic chromium sulfate is often used in the textile industry as a base component of acid dyes for dyeing textiles, especially silk and cotton fabrics. It can form a solid pigment group on the surface of the fiber, and has good durability and resistance to gloss changes.

2. As a rust inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor:
Basic chromium sulfate can be used as a rust inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor. It can form a protective chromium oxide film with the metal surface to prevent further oxidation and corrosion of the metal by reacting with oxygen or water.
