Product Description

Polyethylene

Polyethylene is a polymer formed from the polymerization of ethylene monomer and has the following properties:
1. Physical properties: polyethylene is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic solid with a white or transparent appearance. It has good ductility, toughness and wear resistance, but also has high strength and impact resistance.

2. Chemical properties: polyethylene has good corrosion resistance to most chemical substances and high acid and alkali resistance. However, it is sensitive to some organic solvents, oxidants and ozone.

3. Melting point and ignition point: the melting point of polyethylene is about 110°C, and the ignition point is about 340°C. Therefore, polyethylene has high thermal stability under normal conditions.
